Celebrate Life

Country-style tranquility is an England Oaks hallmark … but so is a daily dose of fun. Take a look at our calendar of events and you’ll find a colorful menu of celebrations that express our residents’ genuine love of life. We celebrate the anniversary of England Oaks with our Couchon de Lait, a traditional feast featuring a roasted pig. We also celebrate our military roots with an annual Flag Day celebration of military honorees (many of whom are our own residents) in conjunction with the Ft. Polk Military Base. And no Louisiana community is complete without a Mardi Gras celebration. Ours includes colorful costumes and a host of traditional food and drink. We even decorate a parade ‘float’ to join the local St. Rita’s Parade.
